Reported by Lavanya Chawala                                                                                                                                                 The National Law School of India University, in association with the Indian Space Research Organisation, “ISRO” is organizing the National Funding Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, from April 25-27, 2015.

The winner of this round will be sponsored by ISRO, in order to facilitate participation in the Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds to be held in Bandung, Indonesia.

The team will also gain direct qualification to the Asia-Pacific Rounds, independent of the memorial qualification system prescribed for the Regional Rounds.

We are pleased to hereby extend an invitation to your esteemed institution to participate in the above competition. The Moot Problem for this Round will be the same as that for the Regional Rounds.

The last date for registration for the National Funding Round on a provisional basis is March 20, 2015. The final date for registration is April 1, 2015.

Please note that a team is required to be registered for the International Rounds for being eligible to participate in the National Funding Round.

The Official Rules of the National Rounds have been released. All details, including the rules and the registration form are now released.

The registration fee for participation in the National Round is Rs. 4000/-. The registration fee is non-refundable. Please note that this is in addition to the registration fee payable for participation in the International Rounds.

This amount may be paid by a Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, NLSIU, Bangalore, and sent along with the completed Registration Form.
