The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, appointed Justice Jaishree Thakur, and Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal, Judges of the Rajasthan High Court, as Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and directed them to assume charge of their respective offices in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on or before l0th October, 2016.
