The India West Rounds for Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition, 2016 was conducted by New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth University (NLC BVP), Pune. It was held on 23–25 September, 2016. Team consisting of Anushree Raizada (III year), Subrata Satapathy (III year), Astha Satapathy (III year) and Rishabh Raturi (IV year) from Symbiosis Law School, Pune were adjudicated as 4th Best Team.  Along with the 4th Best team, Anushree Raizada (III Year) won the Experientia Patronus Hornus Award (Trial Advocate of the year) and received a cash prize of Rs 5000 and a plaque and Subrata Satapathy (III Year) won the Second Best Student Advocate and received a cash prize of Rs 2000 and a plaque.
