The Faculty of law, Aligarh Muslim University in conjunction with the Law Society, successfully organized an Intra Moot Court Competition on 4th and 5th of December, 2016 wherein SCC Online was its exclusive knowledge partner. The programme witnessed the participation of 29 teams in total. On 4th December, prelims to semi-final rounds were conducted successfully, with the teams IMC-21, IMC-04, IMC-32, and IMC-33 competing in the semifinals. The finals were held on 5th December. Hon’ble Chief Guest Mr. Abdul Qayyum, Additional District judge, Aligarh and Guest of Honor Brigadier Syed Ahmed Ali ( Pro-Vice Chancellor) graced the occasion with their presence as the judges of the final round. Teams IMS-21 and IMC-04 made it to the finals, as the Petitioners and the Respondents respectively. IMC-21 qualifying all the rounds, in the end was declared to be the winner of the competition, with IMC-04 as the Runner-up.
Members of the winning team included Arshi Salahuddin (7th Semester), Raveena Singh (7th Semester) and Nouria Rafi ( 3rd Semester).
Members of the Runners up team included Himani Singh (7th semester), Shreya Solanki (7th Semester) and Pratibha (7th Semester).
Syed Aamir Ali (7th Semester) was adjudged the Best Researcher.
