Indian Law Society’s, Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) is organising a half a day symposium on Real Estate (Regulations and Development) Act, 2016. The discussion will be led by a team of senior lawyers from the Pune Bar. They will share their knowledge, opinion and experience about the new law and the participants will be immensely benefitted by the discussions.

The discussion will be centered around the basics, the most important aspects and practical details of the new law which has a great impact on the Real Estate Sector.

The symposium proposes to cover discussion on the following main points about RERA:

· Registration of Real Estate Project and Real Estate Agents

· Functions and duties of Promoter

· Rights and Duties of Allottees

· The Real Estate Regulatory Authority

· Advisory Council

· Real Estate Appellate Tribunal

· Offences, Penalties and Adjudication

· Finance, Accounts, Audits and Reports

The symposium is open to all persons and particularly persons from the Real Estate Sector.
