The first year team of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law has managed to create waves in the mooting arena. Establishing their mooting credentials by winning the Justice P.B. Sawant Second National Moot Court Competition, the team comprising of three students, Shreyanss Jain, Varsha Singh and Kshitij Pawar, has brought laurels to the university.

The competition was held from 31st January to 1st February, 2015 and organized at Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune. The team conquered the knock out preliminary round defeating its opponent by obtaining the 1st rank and then won the finals, defeating Symbiosis Law School, Pune in the finals and Indian Law School, Pune in the overall scores. The team was appreciated for their hard work. Moreover, Varsha Singh was adjudged the 3rd Best Advocate, while Shreyanss Jain was adjudged 4th Best Advocate. The University wishes them luck for their future.
