On 28.07.2015, a Loan Agreement of $300 million was signed between the Government of India and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The objective of the agreement is to support the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) which aims to improve the health status of the country’s urban population. The program focuses on strengthening the coordination between health and urban sectors and opportunities for public-private partnerships.
