The IP Clinic at Institute of Law, Nirma University was inaugurated on 26 September, 2015 at the hands of Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer, Former MHRD IPR Chair Professor at WBNUJS, Kolkata and Founder, SpicyIP.
The clinic comes under the aegis of Centre for IPR, Institute of Law, Nirma University. The Centre was set up in 2013 to create awareness of IPR and update students and professionals with the latest developments in the field of IPR.
The inauguration was graced by Mr. Jatin Trivedi, Partner, Y. J. Trivedi & Co., Ahmedabad and Ms. Nilam Gadani, Patent Attorney, H.K. Acharya & Company
A ‘Letter of Intent’ was signed between H.K. Acharya & Co. and the Center for IPR to have a variety of programmes related to Intellectual Property Rights.
On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Basheer also released the IP newsletter ‘AVAHA’.
