NLU Delhi

The Journal of Legal Studies (NLUD-JLS) is National Law University, Delhi’s flagship journal. Formerly known as the NLUD Student Law Journal, it is an annual student-edited, peer-reviewed law journal, which seeks to provide a forum for engaging in discussions on varied issues of contemporary importance in domestic and international law and policy. The aim of the journal is to encourage scholarship and research in all areas of the law and its relationship with other disciplines in order to analyse crucial developments in the legal field.
The Editorial Board is pleased to invite scholarly submissions from students, academicians, practitioners and other researchers for the inaugural issue of the journal. The Board would also be pleased to accept submissions from students of NLU Delhi as it would provide a great avenue for having home-grown research published in a flagship journal.
Submissions are invited under the categories of articles, essays, case notes, legislative comments and book reviews. Authors are encouraged to select themes that are of contemporary relevance and have an issue of law to be engaged with analytically. Papers dealing with foreign themes, in any of the above categories, should also engage with its relevance in the Indian context.
Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two authors. Submissions are accepted only in electronic form and must be submitted via e-mail to nludslj@nludelhi.ac.in. The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is 15 March, 2017.
