The ninth edition of the GNLU International Moot Court Competition (GIMC) was organised in GNLU Gandhinagar from 1st February, 2017 to 5th Febraury, 2017. The Moot Problem was based on protective measures adopted by a nation to safeguard its home/domestic industry from imports. There were 46 teams participating in the competition, including around half a dozen teams from abroad.

 GNLU EVENT 22The team comprising Karan Sangani, Ashwin Murthy and Rohan Singh of the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad won the ninth edition of GNLU International Moot Court Competition.

The team from George Washington University comprising Kyle Zhu and Sophia Park were awarded the runners-up trophy.

The winners were awarded the Winners Trophy along with a prize money of Rs. 40000; books sponsored by IELPO, Barcelona; Summer School at World Trade Institute, Bern and internship with Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys.
