The team comprising of Uzma Sheikh (Sem-VIII), Virendra Singh Ranawat (Sem-VIII) and Arushi maheshwari (Sem-VIII) participated in 3rd KIIT National Mock Trial Competition 2017. They qualified both the preliminary rounds and were ranked 2nd to qualify for the quarter final round among 18 teams who participated in the competition.

The Team comprising of Virendra Singh Ranawat (4th year), Mani Shankar Mani (3rd year) and Anjali Upadhyay (2nd year) were declared Runners Up in the prestigious 2nd NUSRL Trial Advocacy Competition, 2017. Anjali Upadhyay also bagged the trophy of Best Researcher Award.

The team comprised of Bhoomika Kalley, Zibal Qureshi and Chitra Singh from third year were declared runners-up in the Second National Mock Trial Competition, Christ University, 2017.

The team comprising of Prafull Bhardwaj and Saloni Modi (both second year students) stood runners up at the Client Counselling event of the 2nd Adv. Ram Jethmalani- Symbiosis ADR Tournament held at SLS, Pune. The competition saw the participation from more than 15 law schools of the country. The problems were framed based on Criminal Laws, Contract Laws and Constitutional Laws.

The team comprising of Mayur Jugtawat and Ritika Sharma represented ILNU at the Client Counseling event of the 1st Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) Dispute Resolution and Client Counseling Competition held at Delhi. The competition saw the participation from more than 24 law schools of the country. The problems were framed based on Intellectual Property Laws , Family Laws and Criminal Laws. The team were declared as Runners-up. Along with that, Ritika Sharma also bagged in the award for best counsellor of the competition.
