The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, transferred Shri Justice Ved Prakash Vaish, Judge, Meghalaya High Court, as a Judge of the Allahabad High Court and directed him to assume charge of his office in the Allahabad High Court on or before 28th November, 2017.
