TNNLS changed to Tamil Nadu National Law University vide amendment

With a view to change the name of the National Law University situated at Tamil Nadu, the State Legislature has passed the Tamil Nadu National Law School (Amendment) Act, 2018 amending the provisions of the Tamil Nadu National Law School Act, 2012. The amendment changes the name to Tamil Nadu National Law University (“TNNLU”) which was formerly known as Tamil Nadu National Law School (“TNNLS”).  This was a long time discussion of the management of the law school to change its name.
