The Semi-final and Final Rounds of 16th All India Moot Court Competition organized by Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) – Southern India Regional Council were held at National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi on 15th September 2018. The Moot had previous rounds conducted at the chapter level rounds and regional level.
The Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Indian Regional Councils were represented in the Final Rounds. The team representing the Western Regional Council went on to win the Moot after beating the Southern Regional Council team in the final rounds. The winning team consisted of Ms. Tanya Jain and Ms. Pooja Khimani.
The Moot Proposition was based on Company Law with Oppression and Mismanagement as a primary issue. The Final Rounds were judged by Justice Sunil Thomas, Judge, High Court of Kerala; CS Sandeep, Managing Partner of Sandeep & Associates, Chennai and Dr. Anil R Nair.
