Supriyo Ranjan Mahapatra wins second prize for this essay at Annual  Essay Competition organised by Indian Institute of Public Administration. The Indian Institute of Public administration was established in 1954 and is a research and training organisation under the Ministry of Personnel of the Govt. of India.

The essay was written on the topic “Non-performing assets in the Banking Sector Affecting the Indian Economy”. Mr. Mahapatra’s essay was selected as second prize amongst 500 submissions from people of different age group across the country. The Award ceremony was conducted in the 64th Annual General Meeting of IIPA.

The Award was given by Padma Vibhusan Award recipient Mr TN Chaturvedi (Chairman, IIPA)  in the presence of Mr T Chatterjee( Director, IIPA) and Mr Shekhar Dutt ( Former Governor of Chattisgarh and Vice-President of IIPA).
